April 23rd... जागतिक पुस्तक दिनाचा मुहूर्त साधून ह्या ब्लॉगचा शुभारंभ केला आहे.

पुस्तके वाचली गेली पाहिजेत. त्यांच्याबद्दल बोललं गेल पाहिजे. पुस्तके नुसतीच बुक शेल्फ़वर धूळ खाण्यासाठी जन्माला आलेली नसतात.

A book lying idle on a shelf is a wasted ammunition.
Like money, books must be kept in constant circulation.
Lend and borrow to the maximum... of both books and money!
But especially books,
for books represent infinitely more than money.
A book is not only a friend, it makes friends for you.
When you have possessed a book with mind and spirityou are enriched.
But when you pass it on you are enriched threefold.

अगदी खरं वचन आहे हे. पण ते अंमलात आणल जात नाही.. विशेषत: मराठी वाचकांकडून हेच तर खरं दु:ख!. .
